The Priceless Gift



“Every small gift I received from my sponsor encouraged me and helped me reach where I am now”, says Abita. 24-year-old Abita, a formerly sponsored child of World Vision India, is now a primary school teacher. After she was taken into World Vision India’s sponsorship programme in 1997, school soon become her favourite place. And it still is her favourite place where she now teaches children like her and helps them experience transformation.


Safety First


Today, Abita is also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work through correspondence, with the help of sponsors like you. “I had a torn bag and I really wished to have a new one. Exactly then, my sponsor sent me a bag. I felt really good and special”, narrates Abita smiling. Abita’s success can only be attributed to the support of donors and sponsors who make that choice to change a child’s life.
